Spring is here?

These two lovlies have burst forth to reassure me that spring is mostly here in Western Colorado. It seems to be rather late arriving this year. That's okay as I am late getting out to clean up the ravanges of winter in the flower beds. We have had some lovely spring days that have allowed Sienna and I to get a lot of our spring cleaning done and we have had a great time doing it. Seeing spring through the eyes of a 27 month old chatterbox has been so much fun. Actually seeing the world as a whole through her beautiful blue eyes is a wonderful experience. I am seeing things that I have forgotten are wonderful!
I took a class this week making a 6 X 6 mini album that featured the use of the Bindit All. I bought this handy little gadget last fall and took it out of the box, punched some holes and told myself that I would tackle learning to use it later. Why did I wait so long. It is really pretty easy and a lot of fun. I can mark one off my list of gadgets that I own but never use. Great time was had by all and I can see so many neat things that this little wonder can be useful for. Life is good!

Finding Joy

It has been a very hectic few weeks. My mom has had some health issues that put her in the hospital for tests. Good news is that they found a meningioma that has been causing many of the odd things that we have all noticed over the last several years. She is on anti-seizure meds now and seems, at last that they have found the correct dosage for her. We took her home on Saturday and she is doing great. One side affect of this whole thing is that she will no longer be able to drive. At 82 and being able to go and do what and when she wanted to, this will be a huge adjustment. My job is to help her make this transition as easy as possible. I am so grateful that she had an 'event' in the doctors office and we could finally figure out what is going on.
The pictue is of my darlings making brownies for Valentine's Day. Those two are so darn cute both individually and together! With my word for this year being Joy, these two make it easy to find joy in really simple things!
